In our country, there are approximately half a dozen Hindi translations of the Bible available. Each of these translations is dedicated to conveying the truth in its own way.

With the evolving nature of the Hindi language, it is crucial that God's message is communicated in a manner that resonates with contemporary Hindi speakers. This particular translation has been crafted with this objective in mind.

Modern Hindi incorporates English and Urdu vocabulary, adding depth and nuance to its expressions. For instance, the Urdu term "आज़ादी" (aazaadi), meaning 'freedom,' often carries more significance for individuals than the Hindi equivalent "स्वतंत्रता" (swatantrata). Similarly, certain Hindi words like 'दाखलता' (daakhlata) for 'vine' are becoming obsolete, while the more commonly known 'angur' (grape) remains prevalent.

Recognizing the need for widespread comprehension, efforts have been made to replace complex Hindi terms with simpler alternatives drawn from everyday language usage.

Several key modifications have been implemented in this translation to enhance accuracy and cultural relevance. Notably, distinctions such as using 'फ़ाख्ता' (fakhta) for 'dove' in reference to the Holy Spirit descending upon Jesus, instead of the more commonplace 'कबूतर' (kabutar) meaning 'pigeon,' have been incorporated.

Furthermore, attention has been given to linguistic nuances to foster inclusivity across diverse religious backgrounds, ensuring that the language used is respectful and universally understandable.

Embracing feedback and critique, this Bible version strives to be a collaborative effort shaped by readers and scholars alike, aiming to become a Bible accessible to all individuals.

The accompanying Bible app offers compatibility with nearly all Android devices at no cost, providing users with seamless access to the scriptures.
